Reviews and Ratings <br />
The State Game Lodge has a beautiful location within Custer State Park, offering a scenic backdrop for nature enthusiasts. However, my experience here was marred by poor dining choices and unclean accommodations. The rooms were comfortable but lacked proper cleanliness, and the service felt inconsistent. While there’s potential in the menu, my meals were disappointing, making it hard to recommend this lodge for a pleasant stay.
The State Game Lodge offers a mix of historic charm and modern comfort, right in the heart of Custer State Park. While the cabin experience was marred by a mouse problem, the location was superb, providing easy access to beautiful parks and buffalo safaris. Though the stay wasn't flawless, the dining experience pleasantly exceeded my expectations, making this a memorable trip overall.
I had a fantastic stay at the State Game Lodge nestled within Custer State Park. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to provide helpful recommendations. I loved the restaurant; the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was charmingly historic. However, the noise level in the older part of the lodge could be a bit bothersome at times. Overall, it's an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates history and nature.
We had a mixed experience at our recent stay. The location was gorgeous, and the wildlife around was stunning. However, our cabin encountered a few issues, and we had to switch cabins, which could have been a hassle if not for the quick service. Overall, it was a decent stay despite a few hiccups.
Our family had a great time in the two cabins, which were perfect for our group of 10, including four kids. The beds were comfy, and we had ample space to relax. However, there were a few maintenance issues that could use attention, like a stove burner that was out of order and a lack of kitchen essentials. Overall, it was a lovely stay, but a few improvements would make it even better.
